Bred Wyrm Question

I'm a little curious about this. If I got to, at some point, breed two imperial fus together and had an outcome where pink or yellow were possible, could I send a small handful of feathers off to D for my baby? I always save the best looking feathers when my birds have molted, my most recent/only living rescue is a goffin's cockatoo. I have white, white/pink and white/yellow pretty feathers.
I have plans for some molted feathers anyway. I have a few from every bird I've ever rescued. The thought crossed my mind when I learned about how the gem wyrms worked.

Sure, I've got no problem with that, though you'd have to likely send them to Sciggles since she does most of the bred babies.
I WILL say I'd request on Sciggles behalf that any feathers get a dip in peroxide or rubbing alcohol. It helps to ensure the feathers are completey sterile for handling.

Ok. Thank you D! They'd be extra special then and I have no problem cleaning the feathers again before sending any out.

Totally understood, I still have feathers from our dove Mercy. I just say sterilizing because I got feathers from someone years back that neither of us realized had feather mite eggs in the feather shaft. I stored them in a box with other feathers and.......Yeeeeeeah. Let's just say those feathers had to be tossed. Totally destroyed.
