UPDATE - SUMMER / FALL SEASON and RANDOM ACTS CHARITY

I deleted the previous post about summer season as opposed to editing it, because I wanted to be the bearer of bad news, and some good news for the future.

1) after much deliberation and internal fighting with myself, I am formally canceling Summer/Fall seasons for 2014.
Before anyone expresses disappointment, which it know many will feel, I offer my apology. I cannot, in good conscience, open a new season when the precious ones are I completed. Many handlers are still waiting on Spring farm babies, and some handlers babies from even further back. To ensure ALL of these are 110% done and in the hands of their handlers! we are cutting the reduced summer and fall season for this year.

2) the GOOD news, is this will allow us to catch up completely with outstanding orders, and open Winter to be a super awesome season filled with adorable babies and fun crosses. We WILL allow farms a single breeding during the winter season to make up for missed Fall season, and it will count towards your max. (Whatever max we set for the season, that is as yet undetermined)

3) Supernatural Con didn't happen for myself or Sciggles. Finances and other personal issues prevented both of us from attending. This means I still have a huge sack of Loonies in my closet. :/
I intend on bookmarking the convention website, and setting reminders for myself on my ipad. Next year, I WILL be attending the convention for a single day, to deliver the funds raised. The upside to this unfortunate snafu is that it gives me more time to make show themed Wyrms, such as Bobby, Gabriel,Ruby, and a plethora of other fun and wicked favorites. Suggestions are most welcome.

4) my Patreon requires time, so that I can work on the videos and book and myriad of other items I intend to work on. I can't do this if I'm finishing one chunk of Wyrm work and diving instantly into another huge chunk.

5) my commission wait list has been stagnant for over a year and a half. I want it clear, and want the nice people to actually get their items before Zoe is in college. :/

6) I want to stockpile stock for conventions. Homecon, Dragoncon IF I pass jury, will both require large numbers. A few Wyrms or dolls worked on here or there will help avoid being overwhelmed last minute.

As of right now, my convention goals for next year are-

DRAGONCON (fingers crossed!)
Fur The More
Anthrocon
Homecon

Additional conventions are likely, right now I'm trying to balance workload with downtime to get caught up and STAY caught up.

And now, I'm back to work, and hope everyone understand. I'm sorry for additional delays in breeding seasons, but I want this game to be amazing for everyone. And part of that is being responsible and finishing one pile of homework before accepting more.

Totally understandable D. You guys need to keep your workload at a reasonable level, and not overload.

Hopefully the loonies can get donated when you get a chance!

Don't swamp yourself too much, we'll still love you and Sciggles!

This is totally understandable D!
If you keep piling more and more and more work ontop of existing work, things don't get done and stuff just gets too stressful!
You, Sciggles, the staff and everyone helping out is doing a terrific job!!
It is a little disappointing to see the Summer and fall season cut, but seeing the amount of work it would have added to you guys, it is really for the best that you don't add that extra work to your plate!
I'm excited that you'll be able to work on your commission list as well any other extra things you have planned!!

Just way to go! Again you all are doing a wonderful job! Don't push yourselves too hard :D

Very understandable. Finding a way to stay caught up, I hope, will allow you some down time or, at least, the time to have some fun art time. The plans for the winter season sound intriguing.

Going to the Supernatural Convention next year = more time to collect donations and more time to plot a super cool way to deliver the donation.

More Supernatural themed mules sound like fun. I am particularly looking forward to the Ruby one.

Lots of folks here who are more than understanding. :)
Hey, a question, does the replacement winter season still act as a "fall" farm season? I was planning to do a fall leafcrawler hybrid breeding as part of my farm and I was wondering if the swirly leaf plating would still be able to carry over even though it's not fall, because it's "fall"?

Financial issues suck. I know, firsthand. I, personally, WOULD LOVE to have the opportunity to maybe, possibly, eventually be on your commissions list and so seeing that it maybe, possibly, eventually might happen, is exciting. I hope Patreon goes well for you! I wish I was stable enough to pledge to it, but maybe next month! All the best to you, Sciggles, Zia and the other crazily talented sculptors, photographer and staff. Hopefully next year and the rest of this year will be a bit smoother sailing! We understand!!!

Totally understandable! Backlogs are a beast best tamed, rather than fed! (as I fail to follow this philosophy myself...)

I shall have to hunt extra hard for leafcrawlers at Furpocalypse. XD

While it might be disappointing to some people, this is a really smart move for you guys. Cancelling breeding season gives you the time to *breathe* and take care of the projects (both wyrm and non-fluffy) that have been sneaking up the hallway, stealing into the kitchen, and ransacking your fridge for snacks. ;-) We want you to be happy, too!

And did you mention the possibility of a.... dare I breathe it? ...a GABRIEL Wyrm?

I was *thrilled* to meet Gabriel, and hey, he's a fellow musician! Can't wait to see.

And I won't totally suggest a Metatron wyrm, nope nope nope! ;-)

Totally understandable, and like everyone else has said, this sounds like a great move and will help give y'all time to work on things! :)

:P You should let us know if you need care packages! I can make a trip to the Stash outlet store for ALL THE TEA!

You guys seriously are going to make me cry! :hugs all round:

Above all else I'm always afraid of disappointing our community or letting you all down. It's grown into a little family, filled with truly awesome peeps, and I want to make y'all happy, and proud to be a part of our community.
Hopefully this will let us truly catch up on eeeeeeverything, so I can actually move forward with some of the crazy ideas rattling around in my brainmeats that I can never seem to capture any FreThyme to work on.
