Question 3) name an extinct animal species, and list the cause of their extinction.
Pinta Island Tortoise (lonesome George). Died out because of the introduction of goats (non natives to the island) into the habitat. The resulting deforestation of the tortoise's food source eventually became too much and despite efforts, this essentially killed off the species.

Guesses:

Edit: Let me know if you need me to make a list of who guessed what numbers!

Question Four: Pesticides. I find it presents a danger because a lot of companies who make their money off pesticides have been lobbying to keep restrictions and testing on their products down which means attempts to prevent further dying of honeybees is delayed due to various corporations going for a profit. So if it is one of the major possible factors, it's combined with groups of people trying to downplay it or keep people from thinking it is.

Guess 1: 82
Guess 2: 48
Guess 3: (If I get the answer option) 26

Question 4) list one of the major threats currently know to the honeybee population, and why this presents a danger.
Cool, a trivia question I know! *loves bees*
Neonicotinoid-based insecticides are a major contribution to bee population decline. These insecticides are wide-spread to counter other pests (ie: grasshoppers, aphids, etc), but visiting bees are affected. If the dose has been recently applied, the bee can be killed outright; if the dose is small, the bee can survive and make its way back to its hive, but it carries the small insecticide dose with it. Given enough time, this dose can accumulate in the hive, and lead to major problems/imminent failure of hive micro-ecosystem.

Edit: Apparently, while I typing out my answer, Ambaargh beat me to honeybee trivia, so...
Question 6) list a sustainable, fast growing alternative to trees for making paper.
Agricultural waste paper (aka AGRIPULP) uses leftovers from common crops (brocolli, cauliflower, celery, etc) to make a paper out of what would normally go into a landfill. Because of fast turnover over agricultural crops + multiple seasons per year per crop, it serves as a renewable and relatively fast way to get paper.
(Though nothing beats elephant poop paper).

Guess 1: 12
Guess 2: 55
Guess 3: (If I answered trivia correctly and within expectations) 71

Oh didn't realize we couldn't repeat. The solar panel was invented by Russell Ohl in 1941!

Edit: CORAL BLEACHING!
Caused by rising water temps which makes coral loose their algae and turn them white
