I thought it'd be cool to see the fluffy, scaly, slimy, adorable companions of all the handlers here…so I thought I'd make a topic about pets. I wanted to share mine too. :D

I have a wonderful puppy, Winnie Cooper. We got her a couple of weeks ago in the beginning of May. My old dog, Macy, passed away and I asked my parents for a new dog…and sure enough, Winnie Cooper came along. She's a wriggly, fluffy, crazy little puppy. Her dad is half australian shepherd/half poodle, and her mom is half saint bernard /half cocker spaniel

I also have two gerbils, Jessie and James. Cookies if you can guess where I got the names from? They're both male even though their namesakes are a guy and a gal.

I also have a leopard gecko whose name is Machu. She had a counterpart named Picchu who unfortunately passed away. The vet told us Machu is also on her way out as this picture is rather old…since then, she's contracted a disease that's rendered her blind so unfortunately she can't eat on her own and we have to feed her a liquid by syringe. Regardless, I love her and always will.

And yay Team Rocket! They're so cute James reminds me of one of my earliest pets.

Enjoy the time you have with Machu, I'm sure she has lived a wonderful life with you.

I just got a rat today. Her name is Tilly. She is 6 months old and was an owner surrender. She apparently lived allll alone without other rats which is very unusual. I felt she needed me.

So if ANYONE has anything they'd be willing to part with (for example a water bottle for hamsters/rats/guinea pigs) I'd be interested

Current pets:
Bidelia- My spouse and I adopted her when she was 6 months old from the local animal shelter. She sleeps in weird positions. Obviously the majority of pics I have of her are of her sleeping. XD
Reno- a male crested gecko that's like six or seven years old now and belongs to my spouse (I'll grab a pic of him later)
Fortis- Betta that I raised from a baby, unfortunately almost impossible to photograph
Momo, Tofu, and Shadow- Two koi and one koi/goldfish hybrid that live in my parents' 2000 gallon-ish pond

As for past pets, I've had so many... Before spouse and I had to downsize to living in one room I had uuuuhhh 5 crested geckos (Reno*we still have him*, Ghibli, Dahlia, Cupcake, and Muffin), one leopard gecko(Chess), and two guinea pigs(Buu and Maple). My first two pets were two cats, Max and Sophie, who unfortunately both passed away a few years ago when they were 13-ish years old. Prior to Buu and Maple I have had three other guinea pigs: Comet, Diablo, and Ivy. Also I have owned rats, two boys named Isaac and Ray. Prior to Fortis I had three bettas: Lapis, Lazuli, and Mr. Mime. As for other reptiles I had four leopard geckos at different points in my life, four viper geckos (1 adult male Bowser, and then three babies that a breeder shipped to me WAAAY too young and passed away only a few days after I got them), and a greek tortoise named Artemis.

So yeeeeeeah, always have had animals in my life and love them tremendously.

Delphi Our resident calico and second adoption. She came home about eight months after we picked up Omen and she's basically a Studio Ghibli character. She's got a really long tail.
