The "Big" Move
Posted: Mon May 12, 2014 3:29:07 pmSooo... we invested in a $70 shelf so I could put the wyrms on in the living room that would look nice. My over-controlling mother says that we shouldn't "display" our hobbies like that, because they look tacky. Sigh. Since we're getting more hamsters and those already annoy her too, I decided it was in our best interests to move the wyrms. I have quite a collection of MLP plushies in the bedroom, so I moved a shelf into the room, beside my side of the bed and filled it up with the ponies.
We have to get some windows fixed, and as one of our broken windows is by our wyrms I decided that was our prompt to move them. Thus began the move.
The teslas enjoyed the move the most. This is our "bedroom" tablet, so we can watch netflix in bed on a Saturday morning. Fraggle wanted to take it apart, as did Nikola, but Arc and Aneirin said they shouldn't. For once they agreed on something! Daray wanted to get the smudges off, and Voltage tried to give it a lick, but found it was off.
They helped the rest of the squirm move in. Now... it didn't go very happily, as the three "factions" of my squirm don't get along. The chaos wyrms and the malevolent wyrms started a war, to which Daenerys had to intervene on, and so she now lives between the two to keep them at bay. We'll see how long the peace lasts. This is them all settled in.

Besides the wyrms I don't have yet (haven't been mailed, etc.) there is always one wyrm missing from my squirm. That's Feldspar. She doesn't fit in with the rest of the squirm as they've labelled her and her shinies to be a deity. She doesn't mind this, and so she lives with Commander Chief at the very top of the squirm.
All moved in. The three boxes sitting out belong to wyrms looking to find new homes. The qui-lin is alone, and Meraxes' sister and the tunneler are in the other ones for Celes. Behind them is a lock box which holds my tokens and cards. Then three sets of really useful boxes (and more below in another box). I organize them by colour and when trading, send out the reds, oranges and yellows... because I like cool colours, lol. The box on top has shinies, leafie blankets, wyrmie noms, and both Tomkins' and my handler chains.
