I'm hoping that D or maybe Zia will be able to answer this question.

I want to write a fanfic about how two anxious wyrms are seeking advice about their upcoming breeding. In order to help settle their nerves, they go looking for a fortune-telling wyrm. Are there any breeds that would be known for predicting or fortune-telling?

But I would think the Blind GaoXings were be perfect to tell fourtunes! They seem like Seers to me.

Also the moss hoarders seem very mystic with their dark colors.

I like the idea about the Gao-Xings!

What about the Fairy Wyrms? Depending on what you needed for the story you could go 'darker' with a Tatterwing or 'lighter' with a Flickerling or Crinkler or something.

And then there's the Anglers, who have their own "crystal balls."

It doesn't really matter. They can be sketchy and hard to find but I didn't want to pin it against any wyrms who 100% weren't.

Angler balls are strictly prey lure/courtship display....they don't typically have the temperament to be mystics. Same with the normal fae....they are flighty and too interested in causing mischief to be seers or mystics.

The ones that carry magic or a gift for that sort of thing would be bigger....Ran, Big Q in his own way....even Crowley....though his help usually has a fairly high price tag.

Okay I'll probably use Ran then because in the story, the wyrms go to Big Q and Crowley after talking to the fortune teller.

Gao's DO have a sort of extra sensory perception, do to the blindness, but when you say mystic I assuming you mean telling fortunes or advice on the future, correct?
