Official Introduction
Posted: Mon Jan 20, 2014 5:17:21 pmI guess it is about time I did one of these. I am Moongara. I started down the road of wyrm-addiction back when D first made them. Now I am Tiri's keeper and handler of the breeding request inundation every breeding season...which I suppose makes me more of her personal secretary. That is quite amusing since clerical support is my job in real life. I work for the government and will probably comment on, rant about or complain about the lack of intelligence of my co-workers in chat from time to time. My real interests are military history, strategy and tactics, national security/counter terrorism, forensics, science fiction, and fantasy, as well as my own art habits. I make sculptures, jewelry and what ever odd thing my demon of a muse manages to come up with. If you spend much time around me in chat, you will notice I have a fondness for obscure history references, I apologize in advance.
I have enough time during the day before work to spend a couple of hours in the wyrm forum chat most days. I work with horses owned by a friend on the weekend, mostly leading horses for pony rides and lessons, grooming (lots of grooming...almost always come home with pockets stuffed with horse hair for my art supply pile, ex. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7788727/ and yes, I have zip top bags labeled by horse), cleaning tack (the only one in the group who has any feel for leather and metal so I am the best one for the job and I do admit I enjoy all the fiddly bits), helping to train and (when time and cranky bones allow) riding. I do so love explaining to my co-workers that "no I am not leaving my desk today, if you need something, get in touch with me by OfficeCommuncator (Microsoft's Office's built in IM), I rode a horse as big as your car yesterday and can't walk today". They didn't believe me till I appeared in the paper riding one of my friend's horses, haven't heard a word about it since.
I and my fiance are owned by two lovely little gray cats. Owned by, not owners of, trust me on this one.
