So after many days of waiting (stupid post office) I received a lovely little package. I thought this must be my handsome deer who arrived in all his splendor. Boy, was I wrong. This little spitfire is nothing short of a grump.


He popped out of the box and demanded to know who I was, where he was, and why I wasn't offering him food already? All with a New England accent I might add.


I thought it best to introduce him to the rest of the squirm. "This is..uh..." He didn't even give me a chance to find out his name before he started firing off questions.
"The name's Ronno. Named after some deer from Disney's Bambi or something like that. So long as I wasn't the wimpy one, I didn't care."


Most of the squirm seemed scared of him. And rightfully so.

Ronno sized them all up, making some rather mean comments about the colors of a few of the boys.


Finally Ronno approached a couple of monsterly looking wyrms.


He thought they looked rather tough. Tough enough to be part of his group.


He's definitely a grumpy little fellow.


And even somewhat smug.

Omg what a grumpy cute thing. I didn't expect a DEER to be so moody!

Today a rather large box showed up at the house today. By now, the wyrms were used to packages appearing and disappearing, new friends coming and going, but this box was larger than they'd ever seen.

Naturally, Icarus had to see what was going on, being the leader he is. Mango understood that being new can take some time and it's always good to have a friendly face. And Elsa was curious what could be in such a large box when all the wyrms she had ever seen were tea-cup sized.

Upon further investigation, Mango and Icarus noticed two regular eggs and one enormous looking one. Puzzled, neither could figure out what sort of wyrm could have come from such a large egg.

While investigating, a cute little head pokes out from the packaging. "hi! I'm Theo!" an excited little wyrm exclaims

"Oh, I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Chanel," says a much cooler wyrm. Immediately making friends with another chilly lady.

In all the commotion, no one seemed to notice a rather large friend squirm out of the packaging

"Oh! Nice to meet you, I'm Icarus."

"Nice to have your acquaintance as well. The name is Orchid." With that, the wyrms instantly connected.

Orchid had already seemed to be making friends with the locals.

And the locals seemed just as welcoming.

Now she's just curled around my neck happily.

So it's been a while since I posted some photos since not every bunch of wyrms wants their picture snapped as soon as they arrive in a new unfamiliar house. But two lovely ladies appreciated having each other arrive at the same time.

First popped out Strawberry Cottontail

Boy was she vibrant and full of energy! She made it all the way from Sweden

And then another friend squiggled over.

I fit, right?

Now the two are best of friends

Also oooommmmgggg your wood borer is so freakin' adorable!!!

Funny enough, my puppy keeps walking by them and licks Vaudeville's lure every time she notices it. I look at her like "Don't get any ideas D8<"

And oh gosh, Warfle's little face is so pointed. I didn't notice she only had one tooth sticking out xD

Awe you got the little lavender wood borer! I absolutely love her to bits, and was gonna to trade my Green Jiao-Di for her, until I fell for the Jiao. And you also got Ferdinand! He has and will always be my favorite growler. If I knew and had the funds I would of died to have him, but I can only wish upon that day. Lol. You always seem to nab the good ones. XD
