Wyrm Structure

So after seeing some streams and getting my first non-teacup wyrm I was left wondering what the bigger wyrms are made of. I use foam over a wire armature for my art dolls and was wondering if wyrms are made of something similar. I'm pretty sure I saw D using foam to make a standard but I'm not sure. Would you guys at CF be willing to reveal what it is? I understand if you don't want to say what it is, but of course in no way do I intend to copy the wyrm look, idea, or game.

For the body, or the face? The body has a bubbley wire thing in it to allow it to be bendable, and I believe she uses tin foil as the "base" to standard heads. That's just from what I've seen, at least with my own babies. ^^

Magic and moonbeams and unicorn tears. HOW we get the unicorns to cry is highly classified, and best not discussed in polite company..... ;D

Seriously though, resin, acrylic armature, fur, foam, love, blood, sweat, and tears. My tears though.....and it's STILL best not discussed in polite company. It usually involves some rather.....colorful language.

Komi, the standards are actually an industrial strength acrylic armature, no wire. The minis have wire, though I'm seriously looking into finding smaller diameter acrylic for them as well, to make em more durable.

I've started dabbling in resin for cosplay horns/ears an it is so difficult X.X I understand where those tears come from! Do you mind sharing where you find your acrylic armature? Again, I totally understand if you don't want to say.

Aurorous.....*I* personally get my acrylic armature from a source that has industrial strength stuff. However, you can get the regular doll grade stuff at....I think CRcrafts has it, if I remember correctly?

Sciggles.......so THATS why your Wyrms have been smelling like grape bubblegum!
