Aibo's Wyrm Art

Hey guys! I'd never drawn a Wyrm before, but yesterday I decided to try and draw my Shrieker, Siren. Wyrms are so fun to draw, they're super floofy!

I definitely need to do more work with expressions, but I think I just had trouble with Siren since I haven't written up a personality for her yet. I might open up dA point commissions for drawings like these when I have more time/experience if anyone's interested. I'll be posting more art of Siren here too when I get a chance (and when I've finished developing a personality for her).

Edit:
I also drew a quick humanoid headshot sketch of her to develop her personality more. I might add color later if I have time.

Pretty neat. I like how you textured the face and how you draw eyes. They look suitably big and shiny for a night-crawling cave-dwelling shrieker.

Thanks guys! I just used my normal style for the eyes but then added an extra layer of glow since her eyes glow in the dark and I wanted to express that in the drawing.

@flicka
Thank you! I mainly draw humans, so I wanted to make her a humanoid appearance, even if it's just a quick headshot sketch for now. I really love the Shriekers and have another one ordered from the winter breeding season. Hope you get your Shrieker soon, the red ones are lovely!

@Shy
I was surprised too when I figured it out! I'd thought they were just white at first, but then I noticed they were slightly green/yellow tinted at times so I turned off the lights and they glowed!

She looks ornery, like Key is XD And wyrms are actually really good practice for expressions. Nice work! ^^

I haven't drawn any Wyrms for a while, so to get back into the hang of it, I decided to draw my hyperactive Shrieker girl from the winter breeding season! I've definitely improved at drawing Wyrms, but I'm still not happy with the shading style that I'm using for the fur.
