CDF Homecon 2014

Con Information
Dates: February 21st-23rd, 2014.
Location: Your living room, or study, or bedroom. We'll even let you attend from your bathroom, just so long as you keep the specifics to yourself!

What is Homecon?
Homecon is CruinndracFarms' way of replacing a few lost spring conventions this year. It saves us, and you, on travel/convention expenses, by selling to you online. It also gives international handlers, and those who don't/can't attend conventions a chance to still pick their eggs the same way as people do at cons, with all the craziness that goes along with it.

We will be offering somewhere in the range of 100 Tea-cup Wyrms online, blind-draw, over the course of the convention. Each day, at TBD times we will post threads here on the forums allowing people to claim a slot in line to draw an egg. Each person may claim only one slot per stream. You may not claim a slot for someone else. If you want to do a 'pick-up', then it has to come out of your own, personal slots, sorry. If you claim a slot, you are expected to attend the corresponding stream to pick your egg. If you don't show up, then you will lose your slot.

Each day, there will be 3 streams of eggs, with approximately 11 eggs per stream. The streams will be spread out to accommodate handlers from many different time-zones.

What else will there be?
Well, Homecon is a celebration of the community. Besides our own sales, we also invite the artists within our community to share/sell their Wyrm-related items. Want to stream Wyrm-art commissions during Homecon? Great! Have some Wyrm collars or other accessories you'd like to sell? Awesome. You can sign up for one of our virtual 'Dealer Tables'. These are completely free!

However, we have a few rules:
- Art/sales should be streamed. This is to keep an interactive, 'convention' type experience. You choose your times. We will provide a forum for posting your threads.
- Your sales are your responsibility. Exchanging of funds, applicable taxes, etc. are up to individual sellers.
- You should be providing some sort of Wyrm-related product. (If someone wants a regular commission, that's fine, but the majority of your streams should be Wyrmy.)
- Please keep all items sold of a PG/Family-friendly nature.
- We cannot guarantee attendance to your streams, or sales. Sorry! But hey... it's free anyways?

How do I become a dealer?
Please send an email to me (@ CDFBreedingSeason@gmail.com) with the title: HOMECON - Dealer Table Registration <Your Handler Name Here>
Please include your what days/times over Homecon you will be available for streaming, and a sample of the products/artwork you would like to sell.
All applications will be reviewed by CDF/Con-staff and we will let you know if your virtual 'Dealer Table' is approved.
A list of approved dealers will be updated here.

Can we claim a slot in 2 different streams? So say one on the first and one on the last day?

I'm not sure where it's confusing.
You may claim one slot /per/ stream - max.
There will be separate sign-up threads for each stream.
There will be a total of 9 streams over the entire weekend.

So to answer your question: Yes?
You just cannot claim more than one slot in the /same/ stream.

When it comes to claiming a spot, is it alright to claim a spot even if you are just wanting to get a charm or two? And if so, is there only a 1 charm per stream limit as well?

I need to check with HMS on the qualities of charms that will be available and check how she wants to do this.
My guess is that you would still claim a slot, but you'd note that you weren't purchasing an egg so that we can add an additional 'slot' for egg-wanting folks.

Chains depend on if D can get the materials/time to do casting.

Will you allow for me to let my sister and one of my best friends use my paypal and my address? I'm going to attempt to get at least a standard or mini, my sis wants something green and no telling what he's after. I just want to get this all out of the way now so we avoid trouble, if we're all on and manage to get a spot in the same stream.
