How do/did you come up with your wyrm's names?

Regan - I liked this name, gender neutral, Irish origins too.

Aeryn - Erin is how it is pronounced, very pretty

Samia - I just liked this one.

They are all the same wyrm (She has 3 names - I gave my friends options to choose them and three came out on top)

I had to think a while for a name for Strawberry Cottontail. I was holding her and shaking her a little, to fluff her upp, and I noticed that she looked like cotton candy, and she is pink so she got to have a flavor. But my bf said cottontail, and that sounded better than cotton candy, so thats how she got her name.

Azul-In spanish blue i guess i named her that cause shes blue and a tint of purple

My newest addition to the group, Eden, has a lovely vine pattern on her face. It just seemed like a fitting name.

Okami - Well, he looked an AWFUL lot like Okami the wolf from the video game, especially with the red markings on his cheeks.

Darkhorns - My fiance named him (DH is his Wyrm, but I handle him on here). He's black and has horns. Makes sense.

Rill - A rill is a stream, and he's all blue-grey and river-y looking, so...

Herp the Derp - "Derpy" was already taken (and is more feminine sounding) so altered the name a bit.

Rii'Haku - He started out (very briefly) as Haku, after the river spirit/dragon character in Spirited Away, but I felt he needed a more majestic sounding name, so I added the Rii'

I was going to name Akemi Kokoro, but I thought Akemi was a better sound to it. ^^

I figured that I'd post up here again for my new squirm members!

Fluff McNuggets- he was so scary that I thought he needed a silly name! I will admit that D. Helped with the McNugget part of his name XD

Heulwen- I kne that I wanted to give her some sort of Gaelic name, since I think they sound so pretty <3 I eventually settled on Heulwen,which According to this website, means Sunshine which is the total opposite of Heulwen's personality!

Attila- he looked all big and tough when I picked him up, so I wanted something to reflect that! it turns out that he's just a big gentle giant, but Attila stuck with him!

Eclipse- eclipse has this gorgeous benign white moon on her forehead and it looks like her gem is eclipsing the moon. Plus it sort of fits in with the MLP character that she was based off of!

Midas- he has a little "touch of gold" on his horns and muzzle markings, so Midas seemed like a fitting name!

Mura- I actually had a really hard time naming Mura! But her name was found on an online name generator and I loved the fact that it sounded like mirror, so it sort of just stuck with her C:

Well, I snagged my second wyrm tonight. So I'm debating names. Right now Asana (comes from the name Assana) is the winner so unless I suddenly find another name I'm in love with, that'll be hers. It means waterfall. (On a side note, I seem to have an affinity for collecting rares and blue wyrms.) Asa for short if anyone feels the need to call her something short.

iago was originally Zuko but that name was taken.. Iwent through a few names then it just hit me.. Iago

My dragon hoard however is plant theme. WolfsBane, DixieQueen(a type of water melon), WildFlower (song).. Since my kennel is BitterSweet NightShade.

I may start registering my wyrms under BitterSweet as well
