I'm confused, when people are saying they have YouTube is it like a special YouTube people have to pay for or just the regular site? Because I remember my friends telling me about paying for YouTube soon but I thought that was just for music?

Just peeking in also to let y'all know there's some syncing services out there too, if y'all wanna organize it so it all stays properly synced in. c:
http://www.synaptop.com/ This one is pretty decent with the video itself! It stays in the browser and lets users pick youtube + vimeo uploads, as well as hosts some movies on its own servers and I think actually lets you upload videos as well. I didn't read their whole policy on copyright uploads, so I just used it to view YT and Vimeo with friends. It works alright. It has chat but its clumsy so I actually recommend a skypechat or stable chat area elsewhere.

Also I think there was one with a designated chatbox at http://www.sync-video.com? Also youtube and Vimeo based. I can't remember if its the one I'm thinking of but I believe it worked well. Lets you invite users to specific rooms and set your nicknames and stuff.

Neither make you download anything, but synatop does make you sign up while sync-video does not.

Not sure if there's one that actually works with netflix though, since its a paid service.

I have access to Netflix, Youtube, free Hulu, and (if Genepi will let me look over her shoulder) Amazon Prime.
