I've only experienced a migraine once, and while it was oddly painless, it was possibly one of the most horrifying moments of my life...I literally sat there frantically dialing my eye doctor as I gradually went blind over the course of about ten minutes for what seemed like absolutely no reason. Thankfully he was able to pick up the phone and explain it was a migraine and only temporary, but I can't imagine having to deal with something like that (but with scads of pain on top of it) on even a slightly regular basis. XC
And I am totally a believer in the comforting therapy of fuzzies, whether real pets or wyrms. :> My cat is very attuned to people or animals feeling bad and attempts to solve the problem by licking and flopping on the 'patient' in question. Meanwhile as a bonus the wyrms don't complain when I take a fistful of them outside to photograph them in the snow, and it's surprising just how warm they make your hand, too. <XD
