Yikes. I hope you don't come down with the flu. I hope that you and your family get better in short order. Get lots of rest and don't you forget to take care of yourself and eat (when I feel ill, I always forget to eat, which always makes the sickness worse).
Might be time to break out the humidifier and Eucalyptus oil to keep the cough down.
If you can't keep Zoe's temperature down, use ice packs (or bags of frozen peas) on her wrists and other places where blood flows close to the surface, luke warm baths and/or cool running water over the wrists (the wrist technique works very well as a quick way to cool down on a hot summer day too). These techniques will help to bring her temperature down, particularly when used along side meds. Young child + high fever = "throw everything and the kitchen sink at it" to bring the fever down. These techniques also work on sick adults...my mother used them on me when I had Mono which is how I know they are effective methods of controlling body temperature.
On a lighter note, love that description, "crap squared", will have to remember that one.
