Hi there,

I've got a few questions I was hoping you lovely folks could shed some light on.

1) Are wyrms/eggs/etc still made available on etsy from time to time? I know they were when I first joined but everything has seemingly been quiet on that front for a rather long time, but the wiki says it happens (or is that info outdated?). If this is still a thing is it con pricing or it's own thing?

2) Breeding season is still a few months off so I was wondering if it's acceptable to contact people about setting up breedings this far in advance? More generally, tips on breeding etiquette would be swell.

3) What's the best way to find wyrms to breed together since I don't have my first wyrm yet? I've been looking at the stud/brood board and the wiki so far, but there's no way to tell whether people on the wiki allow their wyrms to be bred with and what rules they may have, but there are more there to look through and it's easy to look for particular things so you can try to get the wyrm to come out certain ways.

4) Are tokens only available at cons or through trading? I see that using a +1 on wyrms with less than two breedings is a common rule but I'm not clear on how I could get tokens as someone who lives super far from everything. Do I just need to wait and try to catch one at next year's homecon?

5) I feel like I read this somewhere, but how are the number of breedings a bred wyrm has figured out?

6) Do people still do pick-ups at cons for people who can't attend themselves? I know this used to be a thing and there was a whole thread for it but that was years ago.

Sorry for having so many questions, I hate to be a bother and I'm pretty shy so I waited until I had a few questions and had looked for answers by myself and found nothing before asking.

We don't generally use Etsy anymore. The site had issues with both posting of items and payment. Any items that we post for sale are on the Trading Post, which does happen from time to time.

Yes, you may set up breedings in advance. Be willing to remind people who may have forgotten if you do ask in advance, however.

Your best bet is simply to ask. Not everyone posts here, and not everyone has stud/brood threads.

Tokens are available usually at cons, but occasionally online as well (although this is much more rare).

Common 10, Uncommon 5, Rare 2. Hybrids are parent1 + parent2's starting breedings / 2 (rounded up).

Chiming in on tokens. If you can't obtain one for yourself, people are often willing to allow you to borrow the charge on theirs. Usually the only 'fee' is that you pay the $8ish dollars to have it recharged when that opens up. Usually token recharge sales take place before breeding season.
