In general, people may provide cards if they have them.
However, I will usually just be using the dragon's visual traits and how (if at all) they translate into wyrmside to determine genetics.

Example: Cresting on various forms of fire dragons, will be treated as Crest: xX though it doesn't appear on cards. Starburst will become Lace. etc.

So it will be purely on visual if you don't have a card. If there's something hidden... well, sorry. I can't do anything about that, and most of the hidden traits were genetic diseases and other things that we won't incorporate.

Yep. You can even use dragons you don't have the cards of.
I'd just ask that you photograph it with a wyrm that is registered to you so I know that you aren't just grabbing someone's random photo of a dragon.

Hm...so apparently baby dragons are a thing, but unlike the wyrm game, the baby dragons were intended to grow up and be breedable (they have assigned genes and all that). For the wyrm game and wyverns, do we get to assume the babies will also be genetically functional as if they grew up? Or will they be treated like baby wyrms and won't be able to breed at all?

I think staff has agreed in the past that breeding 'babies' is kind of a creepy concept that none of us are comfortable with. While we might offer grow-up tokens on our side at some point, they just don't exist dragon-side. So I think I'll have to veto breeding dragon-babies, and say that you got yourself an adorable collectable and that's it.
