Ok, since we just got a PM question about this, I figured it would be best to address it here.

ECE dragon game is, to the best of my knowledge, no longer active. If Blitz wants to step in and correct me that's fine, but as of right now, the last I spoke with her she no longer had the time or energy to continue it in its current icarnation. Whether or not this will change in the future, or if it will undergo a revamp into something more simplified, I have NO idea. We have removed the links to ECE from our forums and site. To date, I am still allowing dragons to be gender bent and used to create wyverns, and Blitz told me she did not have any problem with this.

On the subject of those who still own dragons from ECE, you are more than welcome to use those dragons for wyern breeding stock. However, we will NOT be offering dragon for wyrm "trades" to cash in your now unwanted dragons and get wyrm instead. The dragons were purchased from Blitzava. No percentage of the money from those sales was paid to CDF, the same as no percentage of CDF sales was paid to ECE. The two games were separate entities, and sister games only insofar as we both allowed crossbreed in between the two species. As such, players may NOT 'cash in' their unwanted dragons to use as a type of store credit towards wyrms. Sorry, but I have to pay both my staff and myself.

Players can absolutely offer their dragons in the trade section of our forums in an attempt to trade them for wyrms. However, they should be aware that given the price difference between the two, and the inactivity of ECE, this may be a difficult thing to accomplish.

I'm a mite baffled that I would even have to clarify that no, we will not accept dragons as trade/payment for wyrms, but......there ya go. :/

For clarification, are people allowed to sell their dragons on our forum? I'm interested in buying a few for wyvern purposes but would prefer to buy rather than trade as you pointed out the price difference and inactivity.

Oh absolutely!! I know a LOT of dragons idea folks have a ton of dragons they don't need or want, and we've always been perfectly OK with trades or sales on the forums. I know there are a lot of dragons I'd personally LOVE to make wyvern of. Noodle wyvern, yes plz!! <3

What does this mean, being gender-bent? Is it only one gender we can use to make wyverns in the wyrm game? I know before it would depend on which way the pairing went would indicate which side would create the wyvern, but with the dragon game being inactive does this mean it doesn't matter anymore? Or do we need to use a frog token if the dragon is the 'wrong' gender?

We will now be accepting wyverns with both male and female dragon parents. You are also welcome to use gender-bender tokens on the dragons if they happen to be the wrong gender for what you need.

I have a few dragons that never came with cards and since no dragons have sexual dimorphism it's impossible to know their genders. I've contacted Blitz multiple times to ask but she hasn't responded. How will you handle these? Can handlers choose genders?

Oh gosh, that is an odd thing to ask... huh.

I don't know if it helps but I know several folks here were super active over there at one point, so if anyone ever has any questions or needs a specific dragon style for a breeding idea one of us probably have or know it. Maybe I can make a thread about it and those of us who have them could post on there, or people could ask us if we have a specific dragon for stud/dam purposes. Something to think about. I'm happy to help anyone with any information I have on the dragons too; my inbox is always open.

I'm just seriously grateful for the chance to still perhaps breed with these guys, and thank you for the clarification about trades and sales - I've been wondering that myself for a while!

I'm honestly inclined to say if the dragon is unknown gender, handler picks.

And gosh yes, absolutely! I know a lot of players were left sort of stuck with a large number of dragons, and no way to breed them since ECE *seems* to have gone totally inactive. So I'm happy to let folks sell or trade their dragons. Obviously we have nothing to do with the dragon registry, so unfortunately we can't register the.new owners, but we can record the sales or trades of wyrms on our side.

I'm very happy to hear that they'll still be able to make wyverbabs... a few questions if I could please?:


1. If I have a gender bend token from dragon side would that be honored? I got one back when dragons were first being sold (buehehee Furfright <3)

No. No tokens sold by EcE may be used on wyrmside breedings. The two games kept sales seperate, and so items purchased through one could not be used on the other. It's been this way from the beginning.

2. I have a few of the dragon side babies that since the game appear to be no more will not have a chance to "grow up" as I wanted to do with them .. can those be counted towards adults and breeding or no?

I never spoke with Blitz regarding 'grow up' tokens for the dragons or wyrms. I am considering offering it wyrmside, but as the dragons are still her game and property, I cannot do anything that would affect the dragons themselves. This includes grow up tokens. The only exception we both agreed to allow is gender bending.

3. I do have a few dragons that I can't find the cards for and they were never replaced. Would those be counted too or are they mules for the purpose?

I'm going to talk to Zia about this, because the trouble is, anyone could say anything about the dragons and we would have no way to verify without a card. Particularly since Blitzava had some hidden or secret traits, and some of her own 'codes' for card info.
