Inqueries about possible affiliation/becoming a 'sister game

I wanted to make this post because I've gotten multiple inqueries on the subject, especially recently.
As the games popularity grows, I know people will see an chance at making 'sister games'. Posting what I hope is an understandable and complete response to these requests.

To be perfectly frank the CDF and Es Corander games evolved between myself and Blitz together. We actually were sitting going through the systems item by item. And while the two have slight diversions from each other, and some minor differences, they still use enough of the same base system to be cross compatible.
For any other game to be a 'sister game', it would need to be built upon the same base. It would need to have the same or very similar rules, compatible traits and genes, etc. In short, I would essentially need to release the full system I am using, and all of its particulars, to the person making the 'sister game'.

After 3 years plus of working, building, tweaking, rewriting, adding and adjusting, this isn't something I have any intention nor interest in doing.

Does this mean that at some point in the future I might not be open to additional creatures or games becoming cross compatible as a sister game? Possibly. I can't make any promises one way or the other, and have no idea what the future may hold. But I can say that if another game wanted the chance to become affiliated, they would need to do a LOT of prep work. This is by no means a complete list of requirements but it would include things like;
*Having a complete and well written history and bio of the creatures involved.
*A complete and comprehensive list of all genetic traits, genes, and the system for them being passed on or not.
*Examples of the physical items being produced so we could see how well they would hybridize with Wyrms.This would include one if EACH of the breeds or variations of creature, so we can verify what would be involved/what additional supplies, if any, would need to be purchased to be able to create the hybrids.
*A list of all the staff involved in the game, their job descriptions, and a list of their experiences/what qualifies them for that position.

Hopefully this answers most of the questions folks have. I know from experience that running a full breedable/adoptable game of this nature is NOT a small undertaking. The semantics of making multiple separate games compatible, and coordinating multiple staff members, is neither easy nor something to be taken on lightly. I'm not saying this to discourage anyone, but rather to be totally up front and not sugar coat the reality.

If anyone has any further questions, feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them. Just keep in mind I am 100% not looking to expand into additional hybrids/crossbreeds at this time, and have no real plans to in the future. So asking when I will possibly open for applications, the answer will be the same. I truly appreciate the interest, but its not something I'm interesting in undertaking at this time. IF and when that ever changes I will certainly post about it on the forums and give our community a heads up.
