This gives a basic rundown on the info, but essentially sunlight, dust, humidity and a number of other conditions affect the condition of feathers. This is why birds molt, to grow fresh new feathers that are undamaged.

Thank you so much! That was really informative. (and huh, carpet beetle larvae is something I deal with on a regular basis at work. We call them "pad worms".) I hope to get Xin sturdy enough to be able to accompany me on a trip or two.

Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it's why museum items with feathers (native head-dresses and the like) are displayed within sealed, climate controlled cases. It's also why bird taxidermy tends to look a bit ratty over time.

Out of curiosity can pins be replaced? It's not a huge deal but we have a teaspoon who somehow broke his pin so just curious if that's even something we could have replaced and what it would cost.

I'd have to see the damage. Pins can be really tricky, since the hot glue sinks into the fur and usually requires cutting off. On a teaspoon, there's usually not that much extra fur to hide the bald spot left behind.

Hello quick question for you I decided to take my small squirm out for a bit of a stroll today and one of my boys became unpinned and smashed his nose I was wondering what it would cost to repair him or if he would require rebirth. This link is a photo of the damage he had the three claw marks when I got him

Looks like the wyrm could probably be Tesla-repaired and be given a robo-snoot.

Hey D, this poor bebe has a broken horn, and I could not find the piece that broke off. How much for a trip to Casa Wyrm Spa for fixing... I mean, recuperating?

Good evening D! I have two wyrm children that need some TLC. My Qui took a leap off his display shelf and broke his tongue. I unfortunately can't repair him myself.

My fantail's gem has also popped off and is lost (including the molding around it).

How much would it be for a spa visit? Would it be possible to have them brought to you at AC rather than shipping?
