Oooooh yes please! I'd love to try my hand at growing something that hopefully won't die. xD I have bad luck with plants.

I'd like to give it a try! After adopting a potted mini pine tree last Christmas, I have found I like having potted plants. :)

How tall does it get? We had a dogwood tree die off a few years ago, would be cool to have something replace it and be able to shade the dining room window.

Google is saying 20-40 feet once mature? The one we have had been trimmed a bit on the sides because it tends to get very bushy if not pruned. It seems to take to clipping and shaping pretty well though.

Also, since folks seem interested I'll go ahead and start rooting cuttings. I'll post again once I have some healthy babies with root balls so I can let y'all know when they are going in the mail.

GT expressed interest too, so I'll check in and see what the rules are for sending this species across the border.

Ok, batch of clippings has been dipped in rooting hormone and has a sunny spot by the window. Fingers crossed!
