Odd plant offer

OK so, I find myself in the odd position of having to see if anyone is interested in Japanese curly willow saplings/cuttings. The tree I planted had some storm damage, and I'm left with a TON of branches. Now, I either cut and root small pieces into cute little mini tree things, or dump the branches in the compost heap. And the idea of the tree spawning tons of babies that make people happy and bring them joy sounds like fun.

Would anyone even be interested in adopting a bitty curly willow sprogling? If I can get them to root, which is ridiculously easy, I'd mail them in a box w a little peat ball around them. To clarify, I DON'T want money for em', I'd only ask folks to cover shipping. I'd just rather have baby willows go to good homes than toss em all for compost.

Yeah we'll take two and see if they'll survive florida warmth. As well as hopefully they'll make it through since I don't know if Florida is like California with their plant problems.

I ended up with a tree because I got some 1$ twigs in the floral dept of a store. They sold them for floral arrangements. Long after the flowers were dead, the twigs were alive and had taken root. I planted them in a pot, and they exploded with growth despite some neglect. Eventually it got big enough to plant outdoors, and has become a very bushy tree. Despite two bad New England storms that have resulted in what I was sure were tree killing breaks, it bounced back every time. And that's in the horrible sandy soil in the backyard. This stuff is ridiculous in its hardiness.

Would it be possible to sneak one into my next package (if you haven't sent it out yet)? I would be willing to postpone getting it. :0

Auro, will put one aside for ya!

Genepi, if you want, but it'll take a couple of weeks to get a good root mass going. Sure you don't want me to send the wyrms?

Oops, forgot that trees take longer to root. The plants I work with are good to go pretty quick. XD

Go ahead and send the wyrms. :) I'll pay for separate shipping of the baby willow.
