I am happy to let anyone use my squirm too!

Also, I would be happy to do the 'Goodnight Squirm' line. Can I use my squirm?

I'm not an artist, so I can't participate in the drawing portion, but the artists are welcome to use any of my squirm in their illustrations, if they so choose.

Hehe! Fine with me, I will update the list. And of course you can use your own squirm for the drawing! :)
Anyone who is illustrating is welcome to use their own wyrms for their part of the book if they have one of the mentioned type, or even one of my squirm. I have a Mossie and a Swirlsnout, as well as 8 other wyrms , so if anyone wants to use them as models just check my handler page link for references, or feel free to ask me if you need better/additional photos of them.

Also! An update for those who are illustrating-
The book will be printed in landscape format on letter size paper, this means the pages will be 11 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall in the final book. Remember this when you are making your art so you can be sure it will fit on the pages. :)

What is the time frame?
I can use traditional media, right ? And just make a nice scan of the art?

I would like to have a copy of the book finished to give to D at FAU this year (August 15th-17th), if this is reasonable. I know you all have lives outside of drawing wyrmies. (Even if most of us are here on the forum a lot! Haha.) So if everyone can have their drawings done by mid June, lets say June 16th, at the latest, which gives me a fair amount of time to find a printing company who does small jobs like this, and if that fails to work out, gives me time to find a neat way to put it all together in a final copy myself.

And you are free to use traditional media and scan the art. :) I actually will need scans if its traditional anyway, so that we can avoid having to ship everything in the mail. I don't like dealing with a post office for group things like this which have a time frame. Plus it saves everyone the cost of postage. :)

Have you considered LuLu.com for printing? You can print one book or a hundred...it does not matter. I know friends who use LuLu for their self-published books.

This sounds like a great idea! :) Thanks!

Signed up for Lulu.com then realized the size for books I wanted isn't available on there. :/ Any other suggestions? if not I am probably going to go with the "print all the pages, laminate them, and put them temporarily in a binder" method for now. I will get a final book after I figure out where.

in addition: we still have a couple pages of the book that need artists. :) First post has those details.

Also, if any of you have started working, feel free to post updates of the art you are contributing.

Um, hey, I was wondering if I could please ask to be switched to a different line? I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to draw my line. If I could switch to the Felines I think I have an idea for them.
