Prices
Starting with the 2014 Winter Breeding Season and going forward from there, there will be a slight increase in various Wyrm prices. You can find an outline of the proposed price increases here:

In an effort to be upfront with all of you, I want to explain why we're looking at these price increases. We decided to break down where all the money from each sale was going in an attempt at better record keeping on our part (for taxes and business records, etc.) What we discovered is that nearly 10% of the money we receive from both convention stock and bred Wyrms was going straight into taxes and fees which we were paying for out of our own pockets. This was severely cutting into what little funds remain leftover after all of our various Wyrm sculptors, seamstresses, and vendors are paid out.
To give an example. We concluded that for Anthrocon alone, we lost somewhere in the range of $800 out of our own pockets in the way of sales taxes and square fees. I think you can see why this became a concern for us, especially as, after including everything, we saw that HMS was making less than minimum wage.
So, the increase is a reflection of us rolling in sales taxes and fee costs into our prices rather than taking them out of HMS's pockets. Because she doesn't want to have to work minimum wage at McDonalds rather than making cute fluffy things for you guys, really she doesn't. That french fry smell never gets out of your fur. We know.
Cyber Monday Sale
There will be one last sale this year at the old prices (+CT sales tax).
There will be a small clutch of eggs available on Monday December 1st. We are unsure if egg picking will be streamed or if we will just post them on the forums. We just wanted to give people a heads-up that a small group of eggs will be available.
Winter Breeding Season - Dates
Pre-Approval -- December 15th-19th
On these dates, the form will be open for pre-approvals ONLY. Individuals will be allowed to log into the form and enter approvals for others to use their Wyrms for breeding. This is done as a convenience for people who wish to allow others to use their Wyrms and want to get that taken care of ahead of time. You may pre-approve as many breedings as you wish.
Any actual breeding requests entered in this time period will be deleted. We do look at dates/times of these requests, and anything submitted before the opening time will not be accepted. Period.
Season Opens -- December 20th-23rd
The breeding season form will likely open around 10am central on December 20th. There will be an official announcement in the chatroom for those who want to wait with baited breath. It will run until all slots are sold or we hit midnight on December 23rd.
Available Slots
Farm Slots -- 20-30 Slots Available -- One breeding (two clutchmates) Per Farm
Each approved farm/breeding project is allowed one breeding, with up to two clutchmates. These slots are independent of any personal breedings for the Winter Season. As usual, you may not use these slots to 'increase stock breeds' which currently exist. They must be used to cross-breed towards your breeding project goal. ONLY individuals who are part of the project may receive clutchmates from this breeding.
Tea-Cup Slots -- 120+ Slots Available -- Four slots (individual wyrm requests) per person. ***
You may request to receive up to four Tea-Cup Wyrms for the Winter Season. These may be spread out across multiple sculptors, but we will do our best to combine orders together. Most Wyrms will still be done by Sciggles. Pure-bred canines/felines will largely be done by Arazia. HopefulMonster will pick and choose individual Tea-Cups which she wishes to sculpt herself. As such, an exact total number of slots available is a moving target.
Each person is allowed to have one pure-bred or cross-bred (rare x rare - ex. shreiker x fu) breeding with up to two clutchmates. This limit only applies to breedings between rare individuals (those with 2 breedings by default).
Wyvern Slots -- 10 Slots total -- One slot per person. ***
Wyverns are limited to one slot per person. There is a lot of interest in these, so we want to make sure that the maximum number of people have a chance at putting in a request.
Mini Wyrms and Standard Wyrms -- Undetermined Number of Slots -- One slot per person.
HopefulMonster has not decided on the total number of slots she will take for Mini and Standard Wyrms. It will depend on what is requested. She will choose a total number of items which she feels that she will be able to complete within a reasonable time frame. Clutchmates, if chosen, will be chosen together, or rejected together. However, HMS has expressed that she does not want to 'sculpt a ton of the same thing', so some variance from what others are requesting may improve your chances of being picked.
*** If there are Tea-Cup or Wyvern slots remaining unclaimed on day 3 of the Breeding Season (December 22nd), we may open up additional slots at that time. Do NOT plan/expect that these slots will become available. It is entirely dependent on how many slots we still have left unclaimed.
Payments
As usual, all payments must be made via Paypal using the invoice system. We will send out bills to the address you provide, and you may then pay with your Paypal account, or using a credit/debit card or pre-paid Paypal card which can be purchased with cash at most local stores.
We will only be charging people for the non-refundable deposit upfront. This will be 50% of the base price for your purchases. It will not include any shipping or insurance charges. Payments will be billed starting December 26th, and users have until January 2nd to pay off their deposits. Any bills not paid at that point will be cancelled. No exceptions.
The remainder of your Wyrm's payment, shipping, and insurance will be charged upon completion of your items. No, we will not accept any full payments upfront.
